00:43 In today's episode I'm gonna be chatting with Emma Anderson. Emma is a seasoned entrepreneur practicing witch and self-belief advocate who's been immersed in spiritual practices for nearly 30 years and she has over four years of experience growing, a thriving, authentic business.
01:04 She empowers spiritual and small business owners who struggle with self-doubt and online visibility, guiding them to confidently share their unique gifts and grow businesses aligned with their true selves.
01:18 Let's get into it. Hi Emma, thank you so much for joining me on on your time. How are you today?
01:26 I'm good. I'm good. Thank you so much for having me. I've been so excited to chat to you. You know I love everything you do and time management and time blocking.
01:34 So yeah, I'm really excited to chat. Yeah me too. So why don't you start by telling the listeners maybe a little bit about you and your business?
01:45 Okay so I am Emma Anderson. I'm also known as a spiritual biz which across social media and the internet. I'm a life coach and a business mentor for spiritual, holistic, small business owners.
01:57 I specialize in helping them overcome self-doubt and posture syndrome and just that overwhelm that comes from running a business. But my approach is maybe a little bit different because it combines mindset, strategy and spiritual practices as well.
02:13 I do identify as a witch so I do a lot of stuff around intention setting, working with lunar cycles all that side of things.
02:20 My goal is to really help empower women to grow a thriving business in a way that feels really authentic to them and align to them which is obviously very important to me as well.
02:34 Yeah I love that. I love all of the stuff around like intention and this cycle like excited to sort of unpick this a little bit more with you.
02:47 What's your background and what led you into this line of work? You know, that is such a long story, so I'm going to try to do it in that cell, but I mean, I've been practicing witchcraft on an offer nearly 30 years, which makes me sound ancient, but I'm only 40 feet.
03:04 About six years ago, really, I started down this journey of quote-unquote, doing the work, the real self-development, right? And that led me to reclaim the word which and really deepen my spiritual practice.
03:20 I started seeing a spiritual life coach, I think, when I was about 36, 37, and I worked in retail management, and I just wasn't happy in that, I'd done that for most of my life.
03:33 And so I knew something drastic had to happen. I knew I had to change the direction in my life was going but you know when you've been in the same job forever you know I'm talking about it and you're like how do you do something different and so I quit my retail management job and went to be a waitress
03:49 and I zero was contract wow yeah I don't have any savings I don't have any safety net I had nothing to fall back on but I just knew I had to get out of that comfortable job to find what I felt like I was supposed to be doing you know I needed that fear and it's not for everybody.
04:06 I don't recommend it for everyone and it was hard not to have the stability and I was still doing makeup artistry on the side that's the industry I came from.
04:16 But then not long after that but six months after that lockdown happened. So I lost my job, it was a whole thing but I'd already started my life coach training.
04:31 My life coach at the time nudged me into it and I had a lot of poster syndrome around that so I used lockdown as the opportunity to do my training as a life coach so that was a really golden opportunity for me to be at home and to focus on that and along the way I realised my purpose is to guide other
04:52 women in recognising their worth. I had been through this journey of crying, trying to film Instagram stories, talking to camera Honestly it was heady as I couldn't bear to be visible.
05:04 When I was a manager and retail I would be be, you know, trying to hold to meetings, ice streaming, everything.
05:10 So I have been through this journey. And the longer I was in my business, so I started four and a half years ago.
05:18 The longer I was speaking to more and more small business owners that were struggling with visibility, with their confidence with the imposter syndrome.
05:28 And to their power such an overused phrase, but there's the only way I can describe it really without feeling icky and inauthentic.
05:37 So that's the short version. There's a much longer version, but we'll save it for another day. I love that and it's um I had a similar story where I came out of my corporate job with no savings and sort of no real plan but just this knowing that I had to make it work.
06:01 Yeah, and that's amazing that you're now like four and a half years in and you're still going, which I think is massive, you know, it can be tricky running your own business.
06:14 Yeah, it's hard. I mean, I think I don't know about you but pretty much every small business I've spoken to has said, I got into it for freedom and you end up working seven days a week to enter laptop will not anymore because now I do things differently that we'll get into but it's yeah I'm really happy
06:35 to still be here four and a half years in but there were points where I had to get a day job again you know and I've quit the day job with no savings and I've quit it with lots of savings and know that I'm telling anyone what to do but it sounds like you are coming from the same kind of perspective I
06:50 needed that fear I had to have drive, I've got to pay the bills, I've got to get food on the table, how am I going to pay the mortgage next month?
06:56 I kind of need to be working on the business, whereas when you've got the safety net, you've got the savings.
07:01 It's like, I can do that tomorrow, you know, that can wait, so I think that was a big driver for me and I'm lucky now that yeah, just business full-time is amazing.
07:10 I love what I do. Nice. And that, I think that's really important as well, and you can tell that, you know, I can tell that you love what you do and the content that you put out and things, you know, I think and we maybe will delve into this, but like I think the energy and the intention behind things
07:29 as you're doing it can come across. So I really love the word intentional and I use that a lot in my business, you know, we're encouraging people to be intentional about how they use that, you know, their time and thinking about their energy and so on.
07:47 And so you've mentioned about intention setting in your business, can you maybe explain a little bit about what intention setting or what intention means to you and maybe some examples?
08:00 Yeah, for sure. For me it's something that I do daily and with the new moon as well, but for me intention setting is really about bringing clarity and focus to my goals, to my day-to-day life, pulsating, aligned with my values, and my intuition is so important to me.
08:18 Listening to your gut, you know, is about getting clear, not just on what I want to achieve, but how I want to feel.
08:25 This is what I tend to bring it back to most often. How do I want to feel today? Okay, I want to feel peaceful, content, excited, motivated, whatever it is.
08:34 That helps me align with the actions I want to take part in that day. As you know, I already have a time-long time, love time-blocking, but if I'm like, do you know, I'm just not feeling it today, I want a bit more peace in my life, how can I make that happen?
08:51 That is how I use intention setting in my day-to-day life. But I do it with the new moon every month, that is always about the start of the new cycle, that is the best time to set intentions because I've got the power of the moon behind me.
09:05 In my membership, we do that every month, we sit in our intentions and then checking back in with them is the important thing, you know.
09:12 So easy to set them, I forget about it, set the intention the morning, I forget about it. So I like to incorporate a ritual element when I'm doing it in the morning.
09:22 Just by letting a candle, it doesn't have to be difficult, I'm very much about making witchy things, witchcraft as simple as possible, it doesn't have to be big elaborate.
09:33 but I mean that's fun. You're putting on the cloak and casting a circle and everything, but just lighting that candle and setting your intention sets you up for the day.
09:42 And I used to do my recall morning, yeah, and I think you used to do that too. Yeah, and it made such a difference putting in, you know, is getting up at 5 and walking, journaling and meditating.
09:55 I did it for six weeks, but I learn a lot from the experience as well for sure. Yeah there's definitely something for me it's I find it easier to carve out time for myself in the morning than it is in the evening and just with the ages of my children and things and so yeah I do my best to have time for
10:20 me before they get up but it very much depends on you know I sort of dip in and out of some of the Miracle morning things and it depends on how I'm feeling a lot of the time you know I'm coming back to bed with a cup of tea and I'm reading a book or you know something like that and then other days you
10:42 know I'm maybe writing in my journal or you know sometimes it's I'm up and I'm going straight out to do a run and I need to get back into the running.
10:52 That's on my, on my, on my, yeah, holding dark. Yeah, it is harder when it's dark outside. And so for those listeners that are maybe new to thinking about, you know, aligning with the moon's phases and things and you talked about the setting intentions with the new moon.
11:14 And then there's also the releasing with the full moon. How does that sort of line up with the idea of productivity and type management.
11:25 How do those two sort of elements intersect? Yeah, so there's so much I could say about this and you know I should say at the top, I'm a Gemini Libra Libra, so Sun Moon and Rising, which are all air signs, which mean that I love to chat, so I will try again and put this in an actual but it's basically
11:44 working with the natural rhythms. You know those days where maybe you've mapped out a day of content creation but you just feel like you're wading through mad and you cannot get it done and you end up wasting time because this is what you've planned for your day but you're just not doing it.
11:58 You're farting about talking to people on WhatsApp or social media or whatever. The chances are on those days the moon is in an air sign so for me, although I line with the phases is in terms of setting intentions and releasing with the full moon, what I really hone in on is working with the moon when
12:16 it's in the different signs, the zodiac signs every month, okay? And that's how I time-block as much as possible. I mean, let's be honest, life gets in the way sometimes, but when I'm looking at, you know, for example, this month I will look at, okay, when is the moon in a fire sign?
12:34 The tasks I'm going to pop in for those days are stuff like being visible, things that need me to feel confident.
12:40 I'm going to post inspire and content called to action content. I'm going to be selling. When the moon is in an earth sign, I'm going to be batching, creating my content.
12:52 Those are the best days for batching, creating content. It's about getting granular, organising, planning, you know, ear signs of when you So I'll be chatting and networking and water signs, I try and plan in as little as possible I say when the Moon's in cancer, not a great time for me, so I would plan
13:13 in self-care and more things that are right in content but in the sense of stuff that's emotional and speaks to people's feelings.
13:23 So for me, that saves time because I know ahead of time, okay, my absolute favourite is when the moon is in Eres.
13:31 For me personally, it means I'm super productive and I just get everything done. So that is when I'm like, right, what are the things I really need to get done?
13:38 What are my needle-pushing tasks? Can I organise an Instagram life for this time? Can I do, you know, take some photos of myself for content?
13:46 Even though I would much rather post photos of my tarot cards or something, but you know what, it's like on social, everybody likes your picture.
13:54 So that is how I will plan it out and save the time and it's important because the moon controls the tides, you know, you cannot say it doesn't have an effect on I speak to anyone that works in a hospital or any of the emergency services that everything goes through the roof for the filming because it's
14:16 so powerful so it's just about aligning so you don't feel like you're wading through mud and making things low and move with more ease.
14:27 So I find it so interesting and you're right, I think for those people that are maybe on the fence, you're right, the moon controls so much and that is fact that the moon is controlling the tight so there's no getting around it.
14:48 I do wonder, I go through phases where I will track my time and maybe track how I'm feeling. I've never thought to then try and line that up with the moon to see whether it is, if there are any patterns there, that might be an interesting experiment for me to do?
15:12 Yeah I think the best thing you can do is start by doing a moon journal for a month and just noting how you feel or what you got done on particular days, is there any alignment with the moon being in a fire sign to how productive you felt or being in a water sign to how much you wanted to hide under
15:29 the covers, you know, we all have those days but sometimes like I say I have planned these things but it doesn't line up that way.
15:38 I mean today we're doing this in the moons in Sagittarius and it's a waxing moon which is perfect because it's about the moon is waxing, it's moon from the new moon to the film moon, it's growing in power, it's growing in energy so we are slowly growing in energy too.
15:53 Sagittarius is a really positive, optimistic, adventurous sign so it's just like perfect timing for recording a podcast. If today the moon was in Pisces, the water sign could still be cool because it's quite dreamy and intuitive.
16:08 But like I say, if it was in cancer, that just makes me want to hide away in my shell and not do much.
16:14 So if you're taking a journal that will show you, if you do align with it, sometimes it doesn't matter hormones, you know, our cycles, these things can all have an effect and it can differ depending on your chart.
16:28 Now I'm not an astrologer but I've got a lot of astrology apps so it also depends there's so much to it honestly but say for example today I'm like you should be feeling great because the moon is waxing as agitarias but you're feeling rubbish I was having a really flat morning that was where mono there
16:45 could be a lot of reasons to it so yeah okay don't align if you keep track for a couple of months, you might start to see a part.
16:53 Interesting. Yeah, okay. And the, you know, if we wanted to find out, like, you know, you're saying there there's like lots of different apps and different things.
17:03 So, you know, like, I wouldn't know where to go to find out what phase the moon is in. Like, is there, is there a recommendation of somewhere or a source that we should be using for that?
17:14 Do you know I'm always researching this for my clients as well because my favourite app that I'm still using is not in the App Store so I'm really confused about how I'm able to use it and it's up to date and it's not on the App Store but the thing I always go to because I will write moon calendars my
17:29 membership every week and my clients and things is AstroSeq website, so ASTRO hyphen SWEK, that will tell you exactly what the moon is up to.
17:43 Not specific to your chart, although it has another section for that, but it's quite complicated and convoluted. So in terms of apps, my favourite is probably the pattern.
17:57 That will tell you timings, like big cycles in your life, so say for example, just as an example, from now to me, maybe you'll be feeling like you want a deeper relationship because of some retrograde and some house or whatever, you know.
18:12 But in terms of the moon, yeah, I use the moon calendar app which is no longer a thing apparently, so I would go to AstroSeek website or probably AI, we'd be able to tell you as well, something like ChatGPT maybe.
18:30 Yeah, I mean, Chaggy Fitty could be like, go to it for anything now, can't you? It's, yeah, but crazy. Yeah, it's frightening, but definitely that website has a page on it that I refer to every day that will tell you what phase the moon is in and what sign it's in and it tells you in advance, which is
18:48 amazing. So you can see your month at a glance, what's happening? How can I expect to feel on these days?
18:53 And when I'm talking about the zodiac signs, it's the same with the new moon in the film. So we just had a new moon in Scorpio, which is a new moon about insight and intentions because it's in Scorpio, it's about transformation and shadow work and a lot of watery depth.
19:09 So there's always going to have that flavor. The full moon coming up is in Taurus, so we'll feel more grounded.
19:16 Whereas a full moon in Leo would be like, go, main character energy, y'all singing all dancing, you know, so that is why I line so much with the signs that the moon is going through over the phases as such.
19:27 Okay, gosh, there really is a lot to it. I can simplify it though as much as possible. And in the, some of the information that you'd shared before, you've written this quote and I'm I'm gonna read it here because I really liked it.
19:47 So the real magic happens when you align your business strategy with the natural cycles of time. So the moon phases, the seasons, and even your personal rhythms.
19:57 Like I love that. What a great quote. I think I might turn that into some sort of graphic and I'll get it on my Instagram for when we promote the podcast.
20:10 But yeah, so you know this philosophy around like aligning your business strategies with these cycles and and you mentioned there like the there was mentioned as well of the wheel of the year.
20:24 So can you maybe explain a little bit more about that and how does that then tie in with some of these other like the the moon and so on.
20:32 Yeah, I know this is the thing. Oh, sometimes it's like where do you stop? But I do like to tune into the Wheel of the Year in the sense of cyclical living.
20:42 You know I've run my current membership for two and a half years based on cyclical living, so you've got the moon aspect and then you've got the Witches Wheel of the Year, which not all Witches will align with and there is some dispute in the community about each of the We call them sabits, but maybe
21:02 festivals, you could call them as well, but they really align with the season. So for me, it's a marker of the season and how you can tap into that and again work with that energy rather than against it and it is aligning yourself with the natural rhythms.
21:18 So for example, we just had so in Halloween, October 31, that's very much a time about introspection, deep reflection, we're going into the darker months, it's slow down and rest, there's such a focus, we're not even a focus, it's just accepted in our modern society that we work at the same pace all
21:37 year round, that wasn't always the case, the wheel of the year is bringing it back to how it used to be, a lot of them are harvest festivals, so it's, you know, sourness is representing the last harvest, and after that it's almost down tools, rest, reflect, plan for next year, start thinking about your
21:57 strategies for January, planning ahead, resting, even though we've got black fighting to evolve on with that, right? And Christmas and all these things, but it is about reflecting and thinking about what you want to do next year.
22:12 Not to say don't take action, but it's aligning in that sense, and then as we come back around to spring, you know, I celebrate my new year with the spring equinox, the start of the astrological new year because that is when we have more energy.
22:26 Who wants to sit resolutions and start new things in January? We might have launches, but I will look at them in a different way rather than in the spring.
22:36 It's much more about action and energy and how we're going to change our life for the next year. So for each Sabbath, that marks a different season for me.
22:47 So right now, I feel like I'm in the season of Sewin from the 31st of October to the 21st of December, which is when we have you all.
22:54 And that is when again, it's wrist reflection visioning. So that is how I would use it as much as I can in the modern world to align with my business.
23:05 And right now I'm thinking about what I'm doing in January. We're not recording, really that close to January, right? But that is what I'm planning at the minute.
23:16 Does that make sense? It does, yeah. And is this, so is this then, and you talked earlier about your membership?
23:24 So yeah, maybe can you maybe explain a little bit more about the membership and how, I guess, how you're like, what are the types of things that you're doing with your clients to support them through these types of exercises?
23:37 So I am starting launching a new membership in January, the Mystic Business Collective. So this one is going to be for business owners to align their business in this way.
23:50 So it is things like every month, me sharing. These are the days the moon is going to be in the different elements.
23:57 This is how you can use this to plan your business for the rest of the month for success. I just did one on Monday for this month because Black Friday's Mercury Retrograde this year, which hasn't happened for a long time, so I know everybody has very divisive opinions about Black Friday.
24:15 I will be having some offers, but not at that time, because Mercury-Retrograde is just asking for trouble, communication, breakdowns, tech glitches, all these things, so that's the sort of stuff that I will be sharing in that membership.
24:29 The one I'm in right now, well the one I'm hosting, sorry, right now, for the past two and a half years.
24:35 What I do is monthly new moon circles where we get together there is a community and set our intentions and share with each other and it's all online but the feeling of connection and community that we all get, just from spending an hour together, setting intentions, holding that space and listening
24:53 for each other without interruption, without feedback and it's very hard to not offer your support but it's just about giving that person the space to be heard.
25:03 Then we do a film when releasing ritual burning, letting everything go that we don't want to hold on to, limiting beliefs, and moon calendars so that is looking ahead to what the moon is doing and how we can use that to really push ourselves forward and to make things feel easier, things feel hard enough
25:23 , you know, is just to make everything flow a bit better and have some ease. and so thinking I've just got a curious question about your membership then that's launching in January so what what knowing then that we're sort of in this phase for rest how how does that then impact your launch for the for
25:48 the membership so my launch for the membership is going to be happening in January and I'm doing it right after the Leo Fulman I'm not doing it this end of year.
25:59 I do have some little bits and bobs going out for Black Friday, but my focus is grounding, refining, offers have already got adjusting, you know, just reviewing, reflecting, adjusting, all those things right now.
26:13 The launches are going to be happening in January. So it is, January is obviously still the darker months. It's still winter, but we have emote at the end of February.
26:24 Sorry, it started February. February 1st to 2nd is MLK. Some of them have got really weird spellings and pronunciation, so that's IM, B-O-L-C, and that is about breaking down our annual vision into quarterly goals, quarterly projects.
26:40 That's about winter waning us coming out of it, think of nature coming to life, so this is when I will be lining up more launches.
26:50 I don't want but I'm doing it under a fire full moon. So for me, that's lining up, you know. So as much as I can, I get the wheel to come together with the the moon, the wheel has eight Sabbaths, so it's round about every six weeks-ish.
27:10 You've got a new one to honour and celebrate. A lot of them are quite similar, though, it's just about stopping, pausing, taking note of the season we're in and thinking about how we can move forward reflection planning and I always say to my membership if you're stuck what to do on a Sabbath, light
27:26 a candle and bake something. Honestly, I think we just didn't bring any of them. So just remember those two things you're fine.
27:34 I love that. The power of reflection I think is also something that is really underrated and I'm sure I read an article online and it was it was just sort of around that concept that you know not I don't think everyone takes the time to do it but when you when you do it can be really impactful and I'm
28:03 guessing that you would be an agreement with that. 100% I never used to and reflect to the point of, you know, doing the tax return on the day, trying to do all the food and everything.
28:16 That's changed, thankfully, but I've always been about planning, but I've said this. I've seen this to somebody, was it a client?
28:23 Doesn't matter, but it's important to stop and celebrate our achievements because we're so busy moving forward. We forget to do that and we forget to look back.
28:34 could now I will always mark out a day every month, usually if I can when it means in an earth sign to write what happened in the month just past and what were my wins, what were the things I can learn from?
28:47 How can I shift this moving forward? Is there anything I need to adjust? Maybe there was something I was really excited about that other people weren't.
28:55 How can, you know, it helps you grow your business. It's so, so important and so impactful, as you say, to be able to look back and reflect on what worked and what didn't otherwise we're just beavering ahead, you know, blinkers on.
29:09 If nothing changes, nothing changes, you know, one of my favourite quotes, if you're not reflecting, you can't change anything, because you just keep going on the same path and wondering why nothing's working.
29:19 But you're not changing anything, so I really do believe in the power of reflection much more now than I used to do years ago, but when you're younger, you know.
29:28 We don't do these things, do we? Yeah, and I would have been the same. I don't think it's something I would have done when I was younger either.
29:36 I had one other question that just came to mind there as we were talking and I think I've forgotten what it was.
29:45 Oh man, that's really frustrating. Oh, I know what it was. It was around the intuition part that you touched on at the start and sort of listening to your gut.
29:59 And again, I guess curiosity on my part, when you're maybe making decisions around the business or you know whatever that might be, do you also look at data or is it mainly intuition led?
30:16 Like how can you maybe talk to me a little that I hear, thinking there. That's a great question. I love that question because something I see a lot with the women I speak to, business owners and clients, is there such a focus on what they think is intuition often but is really fear and much less focus
30:38 on strategy and planning. I would say in terms of energy, I'm a very driven, motivated person and I like structure and I like planning, so I do these things, but I will always refer to my cards, right?
30:53 They're right next to me because I've got lots of sets of cards. That's my way of tapping into intuition. So, you know, I work with a business mentor right now, really, really believe in the power of that.
31:04 The person I'm working with just now has helped me turn my business around in ways that have been really impactful.
31:12 My business was doing great. You work with someone that can see your blind spots, it expands everything. But before I even worked with her, I had to ask my cards.
31:22 I was like, I feel like I want to work with her but there's that fear. Is that my intuition? Is it fear?
31:28 That's when I would ask my cards or when I've got a new offer that do you know when I turn to it the most is the shoots?
31:35 I should be putting this out because other people are. I should be doing this because someone told me it's a good thing to do.
31:42 That's when I'll turn to my intuition and my cards and go, the energy doesn't feel right behind this. How can I move forward?
31:49 I pull a card every day, every week. How can I lean into abundant energy this week? What's the best way forward?
31:58 I try and avoid yes or no when it comes to divination and cards, because it's just such a muddled, confused answer.
32:07 But another way I listen to my intuition is through meditation and writing things down. Just free writing. I really believe in the power of that.
32:16 You like your journaling as well. Yeah, yeah, make a difference. It's interest. Like I think now more than ever, I probably historically would have spent a lot of time with noise and like, you know, always listen to podcasts or being in the car and the radio would be non or you know doing stuff around
32:43 the house with TV on in the background whereas now I'm more inclined to be like be rather than having all this onslaught of stuff coming at me and I think that allows me to then tap into that inner wisdom and things will then come to mind so you know like I was walking the dog this morning and I wasn't
33:08 listening to music or podcasts or anything. I was just being mindful of how my body felt as I walked of like you know, tapping into my senses and the different colors and things around me and stuff.
33:23 And then I walked a little bit more and then all of a sudden there's this thought which was a really powerful thought, something that you know, there was something in my mind as I went out you know something that I knew I had to take action on but I wasn't quite sure and then lo and behold I'm out on
33:41 the walk and I have this thought that like answers what it is I was trying to pick it out and so yeah stuff like that I guess is sort of me leaning more into my intuition.
33:56 I love that so much and I feel like we're very similar and I've noticed it this before but I very much the same you know my husband always says oh you never listen to music anymore because I love a podcast and would go out with the dog and headphones in and podcast but I'm the same now I love to have
34:13 that silence and that's when I get what I call downloads you know I keep saying I need a shower whiteboard or something because that is where we get our ideas because you're in just auto pilot and you're in flow and that is when I get my days for the business and I'm running out the to get my phone for
34:29 the notes app or but when you're out on a walk, being present and mindful so so important to me, that is how another way that I tap into the wheel of the year, he go on the same walks every day with the dog and every day you're noticing something is different.
34:44 Every single day and it's incredible going out for a walk in the autumn at this time of year is just pure magic and there's so many things I would miss or downloads I wouldn't get thoughts that wouldn't pop into my head if I was busy listening to my favourite murder podcast for a love tree crime.
35:02 I like a business podcast but I like tree crime, you know. So yeah, I totally understand that and that's a great way to listen to your intuition.
35:09 I always recommend just walking, you know. Yeah, love that. I don't listen to true crime podcasts but I do quite like crime and police dramas on the TV and stuff.
35:24 I sort of I guess there would be worried that I would get too scared. Yeah that happens a lot. I need to take a break every once in a while you know I'm walking about like oh what's gonna happen but I do there's a lovely fiction podcast that I absolutely love and I'd never listen to fiction before but
35:45 it just takes me to another place completely and and it's a woman that does a bedtime stories one, but she's now done one that is called the Village of Nothing Much.
35:53 Nothing happens in these stories, but it's magic. It's just about going to a coffee shop or someone getting a new pet and it's just such like a breath of fresh air for your brain.
36:05 Oh nice, I'll need to look into that. I think that's another, you know, we've touched on the start around this whole busy, the cut is always on the go.
36:17 And it is the different ways that we can rest and relax, I think, is important as well. So yeah, things like that, you know, the mindful walk in nature as part of it.
36:28 And, you know, some of these rituals that you've touched on, like, I love that idea of lighting a candle and baking something.
36:36 Like, it's, yeah, that, you know, that's like a bit of creativity and so on. Yeah, some fantastic ideas and shares Emma, thank you.
36:48 Is there anything else that you would like to share with us? Um yeah, do you know, I just wanted to add that you don't have to be perfect at following the lunar or the seasonal cycles to benefit from them.
37:03 The goal is really just to connect with nature and your own inner rhythm so you don't start suffering from burnout like you're just saying busy busy, hassle-cultures, so prevalent when you're running a small business and feeling like you should be doing exercise it.
37:20 Even small changes like laying a candle in the morning to set your intention, having that part of reflection during the full moon and that release can have a massive impact.
37:31 sometimes people when I talk to them about this get really caught up in oh but I've got a day where I need to do this so the wound's not in the right sign it's okay like it's just about making things a bit easier so don't feel like there's another thing that you have to have to do it's just about connecting
