00:40 In today's episode I'm going to be chatting with Renee. Renee is a tarot reader and spiritual coach who brings a touch of Sagittarius energy to everything she does.
00:50 She uses tarot and witchcraft to help spiritual women build the self-belief that they need to live their most awesome lives.
00:59 Renee is also the creator of a food blog for Kitchen Witches and is the co-host of the Coven of Awesomeness podcast.
01:08 Let's get into the conversation. Okay, amazing. Renee, thank you so much for joining me. Um, I'm really excited to delve into this conversation.
01:21 Um, I obviously know you, um, relatively well. Um, but would you like to share for the listeners who maybe don't know you a little bit about you and your business?
01:33 Yeah, so I'm Renee. I'm the witch behind the Osmond 20 Kitchen Magic food blog where I share recipes and witch tips for witches who love junk food.
01:44 I'm also the creator and co-host of the Coven of Awesomeness Podcast, which you Sarah have been a guest on, and it was a fabulous episode.
01:52 The other half of my business is Sagittarian tarot and coaching, and this is where I get into the real witchy stuff.
01:58 So I do tarot readings, obviously. I also host witchy workshops and events. I have a moon magic membership that helps people, uh, manifest with the moon.
02:10 I do all kinds of spiritual coaching offerings and just anything to help people make their lives more magical. Love that.
02:19 And I've been on your tarot course of yours, like the introduction to tarot. Yes. And I've had tarot readings done with you as well.
02:30 And so I do, like, I am so interested in all this stuff, but maybe not knowledgeable on it all. But maybe tell me a little bit about like, how did you get into this niche?
02:45 That is a great question. Um, in terms of how I got into this niche as a business, I think it's a bit of a chicken and egg story because I got into witchcraft actually quite late in life compared to most people.
03:00 I think a lot of people get into it as teenagers, but I didn't start studying witchcraft until I was 40.
03:06 And I heard about it on a news podcast of all things, which was actually the perfect way for me to learn about it because I'm a bit of a cynic.
03:15 I can be very skeptical, like, looking back at my life. I remember people reading the secret and I was like, that's bullshit.
03:23 Right? Um, but because it was these women who were professionals and academics and college professors who were talking about using Witchcraft in their daily lives, I love fantasy novels and things like that, and I was like, you're allowed to do that.
03:41 And so I was instantly intrigued, but it took a little while for me to start studying it. But once I really dug deep, I was so hooked.
03:48 I was like, this is exactly what I've always believed and never had like a structure for. So It really just entranced me right away and I was became totally obsessed.
04:00 And one of the first intentions, like big intentions I set for myself as part of my witchcraft practice, was to own my own business.
04:08 But I didn't really know what that would look like. And I just became more and more obsessed with witchcraft and magic and manifestation and all things spiritual and how they can really transform your life.
04:21 And it just almost felt inevitable that it would lead this way. That's so interesting. And what's also interesting, like I come from a science background and sort of came through school, science and maths from my subjects.
04:37 Um, you know, I've studied pharmacy, university, vet, you know, everything's all been about the science. But there is a science to this stuff, isn't there?
04:48 Yeah. Yeah, absolutely, you know, there are a lot of things that are observable and repeatable about the practice of witchcraft.
04:56 Now, has anybody like put it in a lab and done extensive studies? I don't know. Also, we're going to talk a little bit about astrology and human design later.
05:07 With the way that my chart is set up, I am intrigued by science. I'm interested in science, like I said, I can be quite skeptical and I like to see that things are backed up by facts, but also if something works for me.
05:18 I don't really care what the science is, right? So there's all kinds of science behind things like breathwork or even psychology behind really practical manifestation techniques.
05:31 You can find the research that I'm like, man, if it works, what difference does it make? If putting a rose quartz in your pocket reminds you to love yourself a little bit more throughout the day.
05:42 Who cares what is actually happening with that rock? Yeah, that's interesting. I think I, I probably am more likely to believe in it, not knowing the science behind it, but, um, yeah, it is, uh, a sort of, like, a lesson to be more open-minded, I guess.
06:04 Um, so yeah, you touched there the human design and astrology part, um, which is part of what you do. Um, again, for the listeners that maybe don't know what that is.
06:17 Like, I, I, I have a very base level understanding of this, but maybe you could give like a little whistle stop beginner's guide to what human design is and the astrology as well, because you also mentioned charts there, so how does that all go?
06:36 In astrology, everybody has a what's called a natal chart or a birth chart. And so this is the position of all the planets and points in the sky at the moment of your birth.
06:48 This is why when you go to look up your astrology chart and your human design chart, you need to know your birth time because that sets a lot of really important things in your chart.
06:58 So you probably will have seen pictures of this. Your astrology chart is a big circle it looks like. A pie graph and there's all sorts of dots and symbols all over the place.
07:09 Your human design chart has like a body figure in the middle, and there's all kinds of shapes and numbers and some are lit up and some aren't.
07:17 Again, if you wanted to really like go into detail about what all those angles and lines and numbers mean, you definitely could.
07:26 And there's a ton to learn about that. But I'm like, oh, pretty pictures. Give me the words. Tell me what it all means.
07:32 So There are all kinds of, you know, like with astrology, there's hundreds and hundreds of years worth of observations of how these different planets and points and positions of the Sun, Moon, and stars affect our world, affect our lives, reflect our personality, um, and then human design is a much newer
07:55 system, but it incorporates astrology as well as several other systems, including, um, etching, Um, chakras or energy points, a few other things that, um, get thrown in there as well.
08:09 There's some cobble-ism. I think there's some quantum mechanics. Um, basically, from my experience, you put your birth information into a computer and it figures it all out for you.
08:19 I can't imagine having to actually create an astrology birth chart on paper by hand, like with a projector. Never for a tractor.
08:29 Oh my gosh, it's been so long since I've used one. Yeah. Uh-huh. Gosh. But astrology is an ancient system. So that's the way that people had to do it before computers.
08:40 Yeah. And is it sort of like, I obviously have an understanding of like star signs, but is this like just sort of taking that?
08:48 to the next level. Yeah. So the sign that people are most familiar with is actually their sun sign. So this is the position that the sun was in when you're born and the sun shift signs about every 28 to 30 days.
09:04 So it's about a month. And this started to become really popular actually more recently with The advent of horoscopes in newspapers and magazines, because you only need to know the date of your birth to know your sunshine, and because there's such a wide window, it's unless you're right on the edge,
09:23 it's pretty accurate to know which sign you are. So when somebody says, what's your sign, that's your sunshine. And your son while very important in your chart, right?
09:33 The Sun is hugely important to our lives. It is literally the source of life on our planet, right? So your Sun sign is really important in helping you understand your purpose in life and the way that you're going to shine out in the world.
09:50 It's only one part of your chart. So if you know your Sun sign and you're like, I'm not really sure that Is a good reflection of me.
09:58 It may be that something else like your rising sign or another part of your astrology chart might be more significant to you.
10:06 Interesting. Okay. So I, because I'm a Capricorn, which I do think probably does reflect my personality, like I'm sort of thinking the structure organization, that kind of thing.
10:22 And I, I am sure to see you, my burst of details prior to, to jumping onto this podcast recording. And what's so interesting is that you said you, you pretty see whatever it is you, and then you burst out laughing.
10:36 Yeah. Absolutely, because yes, so Sarah, you are a Capricorn. I'm just pulling your chart up on another screen. So that's where my eyes are going.
10:43 So your son is in Capricorn, which is very achievement oriented. It's an earth sign. It's all about like climbing the mountain, right?
10:52 Moving forward, it's very structured and it likes to constantly be moving toward the next thing. Now the other two parts of your chart that are really significant are your moon sign and your rising sign.
11:06 Both your moon and your rising sign are Virgo. Okay. So Virgo is very structured. Virgo is all about systems. Virgo likes to keep things very neat and organized.
11:21 Virgo is the person that you go to when you need to, like, restructure your life. That's so funny. And I was like, of course.
11:33 Absolutely, of course, this is so big in Sarah's chart, because that's what you're all about, right? Helping people find the systems that will lead them to live a more fulfilling life.
11:44 Virgo is also also a very nurturing sign, a very caring sign. It wants people to be comfortable, safe and happy, and it does that through creating structure.
11:55 Wow. That is so fitting. And do you, do you find then when you're sort of looking at this for other people?
12:04 Is it normally a case of it's, it's really accurate? Yeah, most of the time, especially when you start to dig down a little bit deeper and have more in-depth conversations with people about the nuances of the different energies in their charts, they're like, how did you know?
12:22 That's so me. Or it'll bring up things that like maybe reflect some Fear is for them or something that they have resistance around.
12:33 So when we go over to your human design chart, which is like your astrology per chart on steroids, right? There's so much more information once you get over there.
12:42 We have things like your profile, which kind of describes your personality, the way that you perceive yourself and the way that others perceive you.
12:50 And I can remember the first time that I read about my profile and I'm a 4-6 if that means anything to anyone.
12:57 And the 6th line is all about being a role model, about spending the first like 30 years or so of your life, going through some difficult challenges, learning some really important things, and then gaining a lot of wisdom from them, coming out on the other side and being able to share that with other
13:13 people. And that was something that I so desperately wanted to do, but didn't have the confidence for. And when I read that in my human design chart, I almost started crying because I was like, this is who I want to be, this is who I wish that I was, and it turns out that's what I was born for.
13:31 Wow. Wow. That's really fascinating. Okay. And so the, the, because the human design bit, so you're saying four six there.
13:42 I mean, that means nothing to me. Yeah. But like, the, the, the human design is sort of the Generates her the manifest.
13:49 Yes, those kind of label, what were those labels called? Yeah, so that's your energy type in human design. There's a lot of jargon in human design.
13:59 There's a lot of numbers. There's a lot of vocabulary to learn. You don't need to memorize all that to get useful information from your chart.
14:09 I really want people to know that like I've had so many people in the past couple of weeks tell me I have my human design chart read.
14:16 And in fact, Sarah, I think you were one of them had my human design chart read and I just didn't do anything with the information because it was so overwhelming.
14:23 So I think that's really me. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's really important to take it bit by bit and absorb one layer of information before you add on another.
14:33 So you were talking about the generators and the manifestors and things like that. That's your Uh, energy type, which is similar in a lot of ways to your Sun sign in astrology.
14:44 Your energy type is how your personal energy functions, how you're meant to be in the world, how you're meant to use your energy on a daily basis.
14:54 And this can also really help you understand, like, how best to structure your time, because, you know, different energy types have more Energy output.
15:07 So Sarah, you're a generator. I'm a manifesting generator. And we're really good at pushing out energy. We can get a lot of work done if what we're working on excites us and lights us up.
15:20 Yeah. So if we're really motivated, then we can push ourselves to like work long hours and push through. But if you are a projector or a manifestor, you need to work in shorter bursts and give yourself more time for rest.
15:36 Interesting. Okay. So I, I did know that as a generator that I have this endless source of energy if it was something that excites me.
15:49 And I can certainly relate to that when I think about some things in business, like As sad as it might be, I actually really enjoy some of the tech sides of what I do and so like I could easily spend a whole day tinkering and working on my website or like writing really lights me up so if I was to spend
16:13 a day writing emails or blog posts like that kind of thing, I can go and go and go. So yeah, there are, like there's definitely parts of that but I guess layering that in then with the, like, the time management bit is really impactful too.
16:32 Um, because I don't think, I probably, let me think, I probably don't go so far. Like, I do consider my energy cycles when I'm thinking about my time blocking, but I'm probably, probably not being cognizant of My human design when I'm thinking about it, so that's that's maybe something for me to reflect
16:55 on, um, yeah, and and weave in. Yeah, and I think also, you know, specifically for you, when you're working with clients, I know you're really focused on making sure that everybody has a system that works for them.
17:10 If we learned anything from astrology and human design, it's that we're all set up differently and that we're meant to be different.
17:17 We're not all meant to operate the same. And I know that you're not going to just tell somebody who's a projector who needs a lot more rest to work as much as you do as a generator.
17:28 You would never do that. So, you know, if you're able to then understand even a little bit about the energy type.
17:37 Or maybe the Sun sign or maybe there's some other stuff within astrology that you might want to quiz your clients about.
17:45 Um, it could help you kind of create something for them that would be more conducive to what really works for them as individuals and what they need for their energy.
17:55 Yeah, that's really interesting actually. Yeah. Love that. And so. When we think then about our charts and things and you know, you've touched they don't like the energy and using that then for our time.
18:10 Like, how else might we use the information from these charts? Like, what other areas can it be applied to? Like, I'm guessing it's wide.
18:21 Oh yeah, definitely. So, again, within your astrology chart, your moonsign is all about your Body, like your physical self and your emotional needs, it's about your day-to-day experience, so you can look at your moon sign and that will tell you what do I need in order to nourish myself, to really like
18:41 heighten my self-care and make sure that I feel, Primed to make the most of my time. So, for example, your moon is in Virgo.
18:52 Um, so on a daily basis, you need to be tending to your structures and your organization, making sure that those are sound.
18:59 And if you have a day where you haven't had a chance to probably like look at your time blocking or things like that, you probably feel a little bit out of sorts.
19:09 I'm guessing. Yeah, that is interesting. Yeah. Cause I, I mean, definitely like Monday to Friday. I'm, you know, the first thing I do is like fire up my assana and I'm looking at the, the, the, to do's for the day or whatever.
19:26 And I normally have my plan for the week in advance. So, so like, I'm sitting at my desk and I pretty much know what it is I need to be doing.
19:35 But, I would even go so far, like, normally on the weekends, there might be the odd little to do, and so I am still, like, checking in, but you're right in that if it's a weekend and I don't look at it, I probably do get to Sunday evening, and I'm maybe feeling a bit antsy that I've not, like, checked
19:52 in and, you know, have I done everything that I need to do? Yeah, and so the great thing about exploring your chart is that you can elevate your level of self-acceptance.
20:03 And there might be some critics out there who are like, Sarah, calm down, you don't need to be so structured all the time.
20:09 Maybe they don't need to be so structured all the time because their moon is in Leo. That's what my moon is, and which is all about creativity and play and self-expression, but you do need that.
20:20 And so you shouldn't be apologizing about that at all. Yeah, I definitely know that I thrive in structure and routine.
20:29 I would not have put that down to, you know, the charts or anything like that. I think that's just something, I guess, through my, Self awareness and, you know, reflection and experimenting, which is what I get all my clients to do.
20:46 That's where I've landed. But then, you know, what you're sharing, yeah, totally backs that up. Yeah. And so knowing these things about yourself, looking at your human design and your astrology chart, can just help.
20:59 Enhanced those observations, it can help you tune in to like where you should be looking or what you should be exploring or thinking about what specifically you should be observing about yourself or about your day or about how you're choosing to spend your time.
21:13 It can sort of hone your focus a little bit because you already have a deeper insight into what your needs are.
21:22 Yeah. And so, I guess I'm trying to think what the list The Lister's might be thinking, so. Where, where do you, where do you find out what your different signs are?
21:36 There's, so astrology is much easier to look up online. There are a few different resources. My personal favorite is the Channi app.
21:45 Okay. Uh, that's C-H-A-N-I, so you can find it on Android or iPhone. Um, she does also have a website, but the app has tons of information.
21:55 Um, I'm not sure when this is coming out, but she does frequently give out some pretty good discount codes for like long, like sometimes up to 30 day free trials.
22:05 So keep an eye out for those. Um, but you can also get a really great description of your chart. Your astrology chart for free from, uh, websites like cafe astrology.
22:18 And so those will give you some good insights to get you started. Um, I don't recommend apps like co-star, um, because those are AI generated and, uh, not that accurate.
22:33 It's, it's an okay way to look at, like, where all of your planets are, but in terms of the, uh, information that it gives you, it's not the best.
22:42 So, channy app is my personal favorite. Um, that's the one that I refer to on a regular basis. And then human design, being much newer and being, uh, a bit more proprietary, it Is something that you're going to probably have to pay for in order to get an in-depth reading.
23:01 Unless you have the time to look up the aspects of your chart and then go off and Google everything on your own.
23:10 However, there is a relatively expensive way to get lots of information about your human design chart and that is the My Human Design app.
23:19 Okay. And she all the creator of this app, Genizo, it also has a book. I haven't read it yet. Um, some of my friends have read it and says it say that it's really good.
23:29 Um, Channy Nicholas has a book as well. It's called You Were Born For This. I use that book all the time in my research.
23:36 Um, so there are some ways to access the information human design is a little bit more tricky and you probably will have to pay at least some money to find out information about it.
23:44 But I think it's like something like six pounds a month or something like that and you can definitely read through your whole chart.
23:50 in a couple of days, I think it's worth it. Okay. And is this something that you offer as part of your business like the readings for other people?
23:59 Yeah, so what I offer is a service called Celestial Self Discovery, and this is a two-hour, one-off coaching session, where we just look at your big three, so your sun, moon, and rising sign in your astrology chart, and the major aspects of your human design chart.
24:16 So your energy tight, your strategy, and authority, and your profile, and maybe a couple of other things as well, depending on your goals for the session.
24:24 But like I said before, it can be so much information. Like a novel's worth, like a Russian novel. Wow. A big, fat, chunky one, right?
24:35 There's so much information that you can learn about yourself through this. And if you're new to this, it can feel so overwhelming.
24:43 And then you just get paralyzed by all the information. And then you don't ever do anything with it. And that's like leaving a really valuable tool gathering dust on the shelf.
24:52 So with this introduction, it's a great way to get you started and give you some space and time to reflect on the main aspects of your chart.
25:01 And then if you feel really inspired, you can go and do some more research for yourself where you can go off and have a more full-on in-depth reading with somebody who specializes in one of these areas.
25:11 But, um, this self-discovery session is really about getting your foot in the door and starting to open your eyes to loving and accepting yourself more deeply.
25:20 Yeah. Nice. Because that is, like, when that, when, um, we sort of started out in terms of the questions before you were coming on, you know, take away, like, your work is there to help others love and trust themselves more deeply.
25:38 Um, if we were thinking through that sort of lens, you know, it's whether, whether it's someone that maybe feels stuck.
25:45 Like I'm thinking with their time management, or even just in a broader sense, like in their day to day. How might your framework or approach?
25:56 How would you tackle that? Yeah, I think what happens a lot of times is that we look outside ourselves to try and figure out how should I fix my life.
26:06 Um, and I'm sure that you've seen other people who do similar work to you who just give out these cookie cutter.
26:13 Um, systems, and they're like, do it my way. This way is gonna work. And then you do that, and it doesn't work for you because you're a totally different person from them.
26:23 And then you feel like a failure because this expert told you that it would work. So when you understand your unique personality, when you understand your needs, when you understand how to access your intuition, then you have a much greater authority to say I'm gonna take this bit of what this expert
26:41 said, and this bit of what this expert said, and I'm gonna weave them together and find my own way to create a system that works for me.
26:49 I'm going to, uh, make my own decisions about what is valuable for me to spend my time on. I'm going to make my own decisions about what boundaries I need to set around my time.
27:02 Uh, I don't need to listen to someone else who doesn't know me. and trust them because I can trust myself.
27:10 Wow. Yeah. And I think that's, you know, probably reflecting on my journey and my business journey is probably at the start.
27:23 I will have been most definitely listening to everyone else and what I like. Oh, same. Should be doing. Yeah. Um, whereas, yeah, it's probably only now.
27:34 That I am able to tap into that inner wisdom more, and be more trusting. I think, again, like the science part of me, I, like I'm still using data and numbers and different things to guide people.
27:49 Of course you are because you're Capricorn Virgo Virgo. It's just funny, so like I still use all of that, but I am trying to like lean a bit more into the intuition and it does not come easy to me, like it really doesn't, um, yeah.
28:08 So do you know where intuition lives in your body? So, I have had, there's only been a couple of times where I've had a, I was going to say a full-body reaction, but it's normally in two places.
28:28 A lot of the time it's my throat. It's in my throat, I feel it. And so there was on one occasion, I was about to go and do something, and I had all of a sudden out of nowhere and a cute pain in my throat.
28:42 And I knew, There that that was the wrong decision and I and I sort of stopped and took a step back, but it was so weird.
28:51 Like just out of nowhere, this like stabbing pain in my neck. And then there's been the other odd time where sometimes I sense something like in my belly, but mostly it's my throat and my neck.
29:08 Okay, so I'm looking at your human design chart and you do have a channel in your throat. Again, I'm not advanced enough to know like off the top of my head, what that's all about.
29:17 I need to go away and look it up. But for you and for your listeners, if you're not sure where your intuition shows up in your body, you can check your authority in your human design chart.
29:29 And for you, you have sacral authority. And this is especially when you're going to feel really lit up about something when something's a big hell yes for you.
29:39 It is likely that you'll feel it down deep in your gut. You'll maybe feel like a buzzing or tingling sensation.
29:48 And, uh, this is a really good indication. This section of your human design chart of where your intuition is likely to show up for you.
29:56 It's not 100% accurate, but That being said, from my personal observation, which is not a scientific method, it has been really accurate for everybody that, that I know personally.
30:09 Interesting. Wow. Yeah. Okay, I'm, like, I, I'm trying to think whether it was, I don't think it was last year, maybe the year before, my word of the year was intuition, and I was trying to be a lot more conscious of it, and I think as well with the, like, the mindfulness that I've been doing over the
30:29 past couple of years, and I'm certainly a lot more able to tap into my body than maybe I would have, um, necessarily been before, um, yeah.
30:41 Interesting. That's really fascinating. Um, okay. Is there, Anything else, Renee, I'm just trying to think where, where might we go next?
30:55 Like, is there anything else that you feel called to share? Like, I know you said at the start, you know, you touched about your blog.
31:02 Like, we haven't talked about that. Is there anything there you want to share? Like, I, I'm intrigued. I've, I've been lucky to sample some of your, your, your baked treats and things.
31:13 Um, yeah. Yeah, so one of the unique, well, It's not that unique. One of the aspects of my human design chart is that I'm a manifesting generator.
31:23 And these are people who are multi-passionate and want to go in lots of different directions. And I can tell you so many times I've had, um, business coaches and experts say you're doing too many things you need to cut back.
31:37 But that is not what a manifesting generator is meant to do. So I have all these projects going on simultaneously.
31:43 It makes managing my time. Interesting. Um, I don't have any of my big three in Virgo, but I have Saturn in Virgo, and that's where you set boundaries.
31:53 And I also have my North node in Virgo, and that's what you're sort of obsessed with or insatiable about. And so efficiency, like, rules my life.
32:04 Do not waste my time. Right? Because I have a lot of things I need to do, so you better get out of my way.
32:11 Um, so yeah, I also write a food blog at post, uh, three to four times a week with recipes, um, within each recipe, there's a little bit of information about how you can turn that recipe into a spell or make it more of a spiritual and mindful experience.
32:26 I also share which tips, um, so things like, you know, how to create your own spells. Um, there's tarot spreads, there's Um, herbal correspondences and, you know, what ingredients you can use for what in which kind of spell all that sort of thing, how to celebrate the wheel of the year.
32:45 Um, which craft is actually really beautiful for helping you tune in and be more mindful about, like, the long-term passage of time.
32:54 So a lot of witches, including myself, work with the phases of the moon, and so we're very tuned into those cycles, and also with the wheel of the year, which is a year-long seasonal observation.
33:07 Um, so it's a really great way to be more mindful of how the world around you, the natural world around you, changes throughout the passage of time.
33:18 Love that. And I- Just with you saying that you're like posting on your blog for, did you say four times a week?
33:28 Sometimes, yeah. That is a lot. And how are you managing your time in terms of getting all of these things done?
33:38 Like as you say, you know, you're multi-passionate, you've got lots of different projects. How are you managing your time? Yeah, so I also have all of my big three in fire signs, which are very high energy as well.
33:51 So, um, I would not expect other people to keep up with my energy levels. In fact, there are the last time we talked, I was like, okay, I'm finally ready to try this time blocking thing because I was going on holiday and I was like, how am I going to get all of this stuff done and take a week off?
34:06 And so I needed to be able to project in the future how long things would take me. I, because of those Virgo placements, I am super Organized, but I just wasn't time-blocking yet.
34:17 So I am an obsessive listmaker. You also helped me figure out how to set up Asana, which now runs my life.
34:25 Um, every little thing that I need to do has to get rid down. And now it all goes in the one place in Asana.
34:31 Thank you so much for that. Hey, I love that. Yeah. And I recently discovered, um, the Time Finder app. Okay.
34:40 Which I have been loving because it's not Tony Stark's Jarvis, which is what I really want. But it does let me create a list of all of my tasks, and I can categorize them and color code them.
34:55 And then it gives me a split screen with a calendar for the day, and I can just swipe things over and extend the time and easily swap them around and get a visual of, right, these are the things I want to do.
35:06 This is how much time it's going to take me to do it. And The combination of obsessively writing down every single little task I have to do, so I don't forget something, and then now being able to visually see them, uh, on a chart that doesn't mess up my Google calendar, because I tried to do it my Google
35:24 calendar, and I was like, this is untidy, and I can't handle it. So this gives me a separate space to organize this and I can change it as much as I want as well.
35:33 It still gives me the freedom and flexibility that I need as a Sagittarius. Um, but the structure that I crave as a Sagittarius, or a Saturn and North node in Virgo, it's a really great combination.
35:45 Because I think that's one thing that some people that I've worked with, especially those that are maybe in, The likes of a corporate job, they can't time block out their outlook or, you know, their work calendar is.
36:02 Yeah. Because, you know, unless they were really clever in terms of, like, marketing stuff is free or busy or whatever.
36:10 You know, the, the, their colleagues need to see open space and stuff from booking meetings and so on. So that's interesting that there's this other tool then that you, you use, because I just do it, I play around with mine in an Excel.
36:25 Sheet. So I've got like a week to view and I'll I've sort of created what my ideal week would look like and every every week that passes I'm always just trying to nudge myself that little bit closer to this ideal week that I've ran out.
36:41 Yeah, and because your son is in Capricorn you're looking much more long term and you're quite happy with this is the path that I'm going to take.
36:48 This is the road that I know that I want to go down. This is going to get me where I want to go, right?
36:52 You're them mountain goat. You're climbing I have a rough idea.
37:10 I know that if I say I'm gonna do something it's gonna get done, but I need much more freedom to change it up from day to day.
37:19 Yeah, interesting. But you find using a sauna, you still have that freedom. Yeah, so I mainly look at the tasks in a calendar layout.
37:30 That's how I have it pulled up 95% of the time. I like to work about seven days in advance. So I'm just looking at, right, what needs to be done in the next seven days?
37:41 Everything has to have a due date for me. So this is how I prioritize what comes first, what comes next.
37:48 Um, and I'm looking seven days in advance, trying to get all of that. And sometimes I'm ahead, sometimes I'm not, but at least I know like, this is what's coming up seven days from now.
37:58 How much can I fit into today? And so I just have it all laid out, all the different tasks color-coded using color magic, by the way, um, so that I can see.
38:10 Like, this is how much is, is do on Thursday, this is how much is do on Friday. What can I fit into today?
38:16 Nice. What's the, what, what do you mean by the color magic? So, different colors have different energies. Everything has. It's own energy.
38:28 Like this includes, um, you know, the chair that you're sitting on, the plants that are behind you, everything that you eat, everything that you touch, everything that you smell, everything in the world has its own energy.
38:41 And colors are literal wavelengths from their actual vibrations. They have their own vibration, their own energy. And so these different colors represent different things and bring in different energies.
38:54 So, um, Blue is often a color of like associated with business success, so all of my admin tasks are blue.
39:03 Colors like orange and yellow are a little bit more on the creative spectrum, so, um. Yellow always puts me in mind of the element of air, so all of my podcast stuff, which is all about speaking, is yellow, all of my blog stuff, which is more visually, uh, creative, is all in orange.
39:23 Uh, all of my witchy stuff is in various shades of purple. All of my personal stuff is in pink, because that's a color of self-love.
39:32 So, yeah, I use different colors for different energetic associations. That is so nice. I hadn't really thought of it like that.
39:43 Yeah, I love that. I might, I'll, I'll need to reflect on how I'm using my colors and my, if my color coding.
39:52 Oh, interesting. What a good conversation. Um, is there anything else Renee that you feel cold to share? I just always want people to trust their intuition and Create a life that feels good to them.
40:10 No one else lives your life, so no one else should get to tell you what you have to do. You get to decide.
40:18 Love that. And where can everyone find you? So I know you've mentioned your blog, and I'll make sure that all the links are in the description, but do you want to just share where people can find you online?
